Сurb

Curb is an element of edging arrangement. There are three types of curb elements: pavement, road and highway. Each type has its own function and is used in accordance with established requirements regarding road paving.

Concrete lawn curbs are monolithic concrete elements used for retaining walls. They are also used as basement stone for decorating above-ground part of foundation or as curb stone for framing ridges, flowerbeds and bordures.     

Beside aesthetic side, this curb has functional characteristics. During paving of stones or covering road surface, the curb carries out functions of delimiter and thus fixes paved surface preventing it from shredding.  

Highway curb has increased level of durability and is used for edging highways, tracks and long distance roads.

Pavement curb is designed for zoning areas in squares and parks, as well as for landscaping pavements, flowerbeds and other similar objects.  This element of road paving has limited scope of use, since it is not strong enough to bear load of heavy vehicle. 

Pavement curb made from curb stone is aesthetic and functional element. First, it provides opportunity to create beautiful and harmonic landscape of surrounding areas and implement correct zoning. Curb color can have different variations; therefore, it is not difficult to select a color appropriate to landscape design or matching the shade of paving stone.

The area designed and divided into functional zones by means of such elements as garden curbs looks harmonic and attractive. So, using this method for paving pathways is quite expedient.
